ಗಂಗಾ ದಶಹರೆಯು ಗಂಗಾದೇವಿ ಭೂಲೋಕಕ್ಕೆ ಅವತರಿಸಿದ ಮಹಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ಸ್ಮರಿಸುವ ಪವಿತ್ರ ದಿನವಾಗಿದೆ. ಗಂಗಾ ಪೂಜೆ, ದಾನ ಮತ್ತು ಪಾವಿತ್ರ್ಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
