Rig Upakrama
ಋಗ್ ಉಪಾಕರ್ಮ
Rig Upakarma is a sacred Vedic ritual observed by followers of the Rig Veda. On this day, devotees perform Yajnopavita (sacred thread) renewal, offer prayers to the sages, and recommit themselves to the study of the Vedas. It symbolizes spiritual purification, knowledge, and dedication to dharma.
ಋಗ್ ಉಪಾಕರ್ಮವು ಋಗ್ವೇದ ಅನುಯಾಯಿಗಳು ಆಚರಿಸುವ ಪವಿತ್ರ ವೈದಿಕ ಸಂಸ್ಕಾರವಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ದಿನ ಯಜ್ಞೋಪವೀತ ಧಾರಣೆ, ಋಷಿ ತರ್ಪಣ ಹಾಗೂ ವೇದಾಧ್ಯಯನದ ಪುನರಾರಂಭವನ್ನು ಭಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ನೆರವೇರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಇದು ಜ್ಞಾನ, ಶುದ್ಧತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಧರ್ಮನಿಷ್ಠೆಯ ಸಂಕೇತವಾಗಿದೆ.
