Pushya

Pushya is one of the most sacred and auspicious Nakshatras in Vedic astrology. Ruled by Saturn and presided over by Brihaspati, the Guru of the Devas, it symbolizes nourishment, divine wisdom, spiritual discipline and prosperity. Pushya is considered highly favorable for initiation, temple worship, charity, education, mantra sadhana, Guru seva and beginning long-term spiritual practices. People born under Pushya are compassionate, responsible, devoted and naturally inclined toward guiding and supporting others.
